By accessing or using Section8Finder ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

Section8Finder is a free informational tool that aggregates publicly available information about Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher waitlists operated by Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) across the United States. We do not process housing applications, hold vouchers, or make eligibility determinations. All applications must be submitted directly to the relevant PHA.

You may use Section8Finder to:

• Search for and review housing waitlist information for personal use
• Save and track waitlists for yourself or an immediate family member
• Share waitlist information with others seeking housing assistance

You may NOT use Section8Finder to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish our data for commercial purposes without written permission
• Charge other people money to access waitlist information we provide for free
• Impersonate a PHA, government agency, or housing counselor
• Submit false information through any account or notification feature
• Use the Service to facilitate housing fraud or scams
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service at scale

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

Waitlist data is sourced from official PHA websites and updated regularly, but we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy. Waitlist statuses can change without notice. Section8Finder is not responsible for any loss or harm resulting from outdated or inaccurate waitlist information. Always confirm details directly with the PHA.

The Section8Finder name, logo, design, and original written content are owned by Section8Finder and may not be reproduced without permission. Waitlist data, PHA names, and government program information are public domain. Links to government websites are provided for informational purposes and do not imply affiliation.

The Service may display third-party advertisements to support its operation. Ads are clearly labeled. Section8Finder does not endorse advertised products or services. We do not allow advertising that targets users based on housing status, income, race, disability, or any Fair Housing Act protected class.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Section8Finder and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of housing opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except where prohibited by applicable state law.
