You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you are under 18 or do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

8WaitlistFinder is a free informational directory that compiles publicly available information regarding Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher waitlists operated by Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) across the United States. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by HUD, any PHA, or any government agency. We do not process housing applications, issue vouchers, or manage waitlists.

Content on 8WaitlistFinder is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or housing advocacy. We do not provide personalized case assistance. For legal advice or official housing guidance, consult a licensed attorney or a HUD-approved housing counselor.

Listing a waitlist entry on 8WaitlistFinder does not guarantee that a waitlist is currently accepting applications, that an applicant will qualify, or that housing assistance will be granted. All eligibility decisions, opening dates, and application rules are controlled solely by the respective PHA.

You agree that you will NOT use the Service to:

• Web Scraping & Bots — Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to copy or extract database content without written permission.
• Impersonation — Impersonate any PHA officer, HUD official, housing counselor, or 8WaitlistFinder representative.
• Commercial Exploitation — Sell, rent, or charge fees to third parties for access to waitlist information provided for free on our site.
• False Reporting — Submit false, misleading, or deceptive status reports or account information.
• Fraud & Scams — Facilitate housing scams, fee charging, or deceptive practices targeting housing applicants.

No individual, landlord, or third-party entity may hold themselves out as an agent, partner, or representative of 8WaitlistFinder. You may not use the 8WaitlistFinder name, logo, or branding to solicit money, offer paid application services, or misrepresent housing availability to applicants.

While we strive for accurate listings, waitlist statuses change frequently. Data updates are periodic and not verified in real time. Users must independently confirm all waitlist openings, deadlines, and requirements directly on the official PHA website before applying.

Our Service contains links to third-party government websites and external resources. We exercise no control over external websites and accept no liability or responsibility for their availability, application portals, accuracy, security, or privacy policies.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or immediate server fixes. We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or terminate access to the Service at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of 8WaitlistFinder after modifications are posted constitutes binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
